Here at Randall Thorp we strongly believe that creating an inviting and welcoming workplace is its own reward - so we are delighted to announce the return of two familiar faces and welcome two new colleagues to the studio as summer ends.
Our landscape architect and graphic designer Chloe Greenwood has returned from 10 months maternity leave and is enjoying being back in the technical design team as well as looking after Randall Thorp's new branding and graphics.
Chloe said, "I like the office dynamic and how the team has a close bond. Although the team has changed over the years there is still a family feeling. Randall Thorp is a fun, caring and considerate company to work for and be a part of."
Kamran Iqbal first joined Randall Thorp on a one-year placement following his undergraduate degree at Sheffield University. After completing his master's degree this year, we were excited to welcome him back to the studio as a graduate landscape architect.
Kamran said, "One of the best things about working here is being a part of a supportive team, and I was able to pick up right where I left off."
We are also pleased to welcome Martin Donnelly to the studio as a landscape architect. Martin, who graduated from the University of Gloucester in 2019, has developed his expertise in detailed design for planning applications at a variety of scales. Martin's belief in the impact of good design on communities closely reflects Randall Thorp's values, and his experience will be a great asset.
Hannah Gibb completed her undergraduate degree at Sheffield University this year and has joined us on a Year in Practice Placement as part of the university's MLA Landscape Architecture course.
Hannah said, "The best thing about working at Randall Thorp is the support I’ve received from everyone in the team, there is a strong collaborative environment, and it is great to gain experience from colleagues at all levels"
We're especially glad to welcome year-out graduates into the studio every year. Not only does it provide a valuable route into the profession for young landscape architects, but we all benefit from the fresh thinking and new ideas that they can bring.
We look forward to introducing all our clients and fellow consultants to the new team members soon!
