Outline plans have been submitted for a ecology themed holiday village at Ellel, Lancaster. The masterplan was drawn up by a team led by Stride Treglown, with Randall Thorp advising on landscape matters including a Landscape strategy plan and Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment. M Capital are the client. Andrew Stanyon, project director for Ellel Holiday Village said,

“Where this project differs from most is that the ecologists and landscape architects have been fully involved from the start, leading on large parts of the plan: we believe this is the only way you can approach developments like this as we look to enhance the area.”
