We are pleased to have helped our clients Taylor Wimpey to secure full planning consent for 131 homes on land off Holcombe Road in Haslingden, Rossendale. In 2011, Randall Thorp undertook landscape analysis and developed the conceptual masterplan for the site, this was used throughout the site promotion process.
Randall Thorp were then commissioned by Taylor Wimpey to join the design team in order to secure full planning permission for the site’s development. We prepared the Landscape and Visual Appraisal which demonstrated that with appropriate landscape mitigation the effects of the proposed development would be reduced, and in keeping with the settlement and surrounding landscape context.
As the landscape consultant we also prepared a landscape strategy plan, detailed planting plans and a detailed play area design for the central LEAP.
