Exciting plans, led by PJ Livesey, to revitalise the former Chorlton Cross Shopping Centre are set to be submitted to Manchester City Council, paving the way for a vibrant new neighbourhood in the heart of the community.

The submitted plans will include 262 new homes, a ‘Makers yard’ which will provide a mix of retail spaces for smaller, independent retailers, and public open space areas designed specifically to enable retention of numerous existing trees and the planting of up to 60 new trees.

Randall Thorp have prepared the landscape details for the application, working in conjunction with Fielden Clegg Bradley architects and CBRE planners.

The proposals have been carefully refined following extensive public consultation with the local community. We have been lucky enough to have our very own Chorlton resident Laurie Sangwin leading on the scheme.
